Grape vine and branch

"I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." (John 15:5)

The Lord Jesus our God did it! He gave me faith! I'm the branch that will grow by God's hands.

Scott Brenner - God So Loved the World (하나님께서 세상을 사랑하사)

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John3:16)

We are unfaithful, but God is faithful

Faith comes from God, not by men.
God of Abraham, Issac, Jacob, Moses made these people to have faith by being with them and showing them His works.
We are unfaithful by nature, but God is faithful and He show us his perfect plan step by step, patiently waiting until we finally believe His words.
Just look at Moses life, and how he was not obidient to God at first.

Moses said to the LORD, "O Lord, I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you ahve spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue."
The LORD said to him, "Who gave man his mouth? Who makes him deaf or mute? Who gives him sight or makes him blind? Is it not I, the LORD? Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say."
But Moses said, "O Lord, please send someone else to do it"
Then the LORD's anger burned against Moses ...
(Exo4:10-14)

Even Moses at begining didn't have faith, he didn't have faith that if God says it, it will be done. But after seeing how God furfill His words, Moses later became faithful as he even stand against Paraoh who at that time thought of it as a god.

Same God is dealing with us all, patiently working through us so that we could believe. Why not accept that you are unfaithful and go to faithful God and ask for the faith to believe Him?

Repentance is not merely behavior reform. But because true repentance involves a change of heart and purpose, it inevitably results in a change of behavior…

Like faith, repentance has intellectual, emotional, and volitional ramifications…

Intellectual element of repentance: “a change of view, a recognition of sin as involving personal guilt, defilement, and helplessness.”

Emotional element of repentance: “a change of feeling, manifesting itself in sorrow for sin committed against a holy God.”

Volitional element of repentance: “ a change of purpose, an inward turning away from sin, and a disposition to seek pardon and cleansing.”

Each of those three elements is deficient apart from the others. Repentance is a response of the total person; therefore some speak of it as total surrender.

It is true that sorrow from sin is not repentance. Judas felt remorse, but he didn’t repent (Matt 27:3). Repentance is not just a resolve to do better; everyone who has ever made New Year’s resolutions knows how easily human determination can be broken. Repentance certainly is not penance, an activity performed to try to atone for one’s own sins.

But neither is repentance a solely intellectual issue. Surely even Judas changed his mind; what he didn’t do was turn from his sin and throw himself on the Lord for mercy. Repentance is not just a change of mind; it is a change of heart. It is a spiritual turning, a total about-face. Repentance in the context of new birth means turning from sin to the Savior. It is an inward response, not external activity, but its fruit will be evident in the true believer’s behavior (Luke 3:8).

It has often been said that repentance and faith are two sides of the same coin. That coin is called conversion. Repentance turns from sin to Christ, and faith embraces Him as the only hope of salvation and righteousness. Faith and repentance are distinct concepts, but they cannot occur independently of each other… Genuine repentance is always the flip side of faith; and true faith accompanies repentance.

What repentance calls for is not only a "change of mind" but a turning away from the love of sin.

My Head Hurts

Whenever I do not follow God's words and follow what I want I get this headache like no other.
Sins. Why I'm commiting them? Why don't I repent?
Doing whatever w/o faith is sin.
From today's QT, God questioned my faith.
Am I really believing God with all my heart?
Answer is no, and I really dislike the fact that it is.
I believe that Jesus would lead me the way to have faith in the Lord.
My God, Savior, Lord, Jesus Christ please save me from these sins.
I repent, I repent. I truly want to repent with all my heart.
Please give me strength so that I may get rid of these sins that keep me away from you.
God thank you for listening to this sinner.
I'm waiting for the day to meet you.
Until then, let me know only you Lord.
Nothing else. Let me only pray for You.
Let me only want you nothing else.
You are my number #1 precious.
You are my number infinite precious.
Nothing else is precious than you, Lord. Amen.

I believe, and no one can take my faith away.

After QT training, I'm sitting in a chair and should go to sleep within 10 mins.
So this will be short, but I just wanted to share that if you believe God, no one else can take your faith away. No, not even you, Satan.
I will not give away this faith.
I will not give away this eternal life for any hard circumstances and trials since God will protect me and keep me safe in his arm. I believe in our Lord and God Jesus Christ that He will always be my Savior and Redeemer and will always listen to me. Even though I'm not perfect and I will never be, He received me for what I am, and I thank God for it.
"Jesus, I won't throw away my faith and I know that You will help me on any circumstances to have strong belief in you. I want to hold You stonger and be close to You.
Let my selfness die in Your cross, and
let me always aim for what You aim,
think for what You make me think for,
hope for what You hope for,
learn for what You want me to learn,
pray for what You want me to pray,
and *DO whatver you want me to DO.
Faith without action is not a faith at all. The faith results in fruits and it will be known.
Please God, let me listen to You by doing QT and reading Bible, and DO as what you say.
I hope You to be always with me, and I believe that You will.
Let Your will be done, not mine.
In Jesus name, I pray Amen."
